One careful owner from new.
Originally an XL883, this bike has carried the owner and his wife many happy kilometres around New Zealand in comfort and safety, creating many great memories. The engine capacity has been increased to 1200cc, the suspension upgraded by KSS with Race Tech and Ohlins components, and many other improvements including a larger H-D fuel tank and Sundowner seat have all contributed to make the bike even more capable. Sorted tuning and gearing means that it runs extremely well while delivering exceptional fuel economy. Less restrictive air filter and exhaust deliver extra power and torque without excessive noise. It has been garaged its entire life and has almost exclusively been used on the open road. It has never been dropped or abused.
Many parts have been bought over the years, so there are many new and 'as new' spares included with this bike, along with extensive receipts. Both tyres are near new. It would be difficult to find a better Sportster of any year, and it is a viable alternative for a new bike buyer.
