The power to weight ratio has improved by 14% which is the best ever for a Fireblade, all thanks to a 15kg weight reduction and 8kw power boost. It's also equipped with Honda Selectable torque control technology, Selectable Engine Brake, new ABS, Riding Mode Select System and Power Selector, full Showa suspension and RC213V-S MotoGP derived technology.
