Made of a composite of injected polymer, the Leatt GPX 3.5 has sought to provide maximum safety and protection to the rider. It is characterized by incorporating the 360° Turbine system made in Armourgel, Dri-Lex padded interior and a ventilation system efficient even at low speeds.
Technical Features:
Outer Shell:
The outer shell has been constructed in an injected polymer composite and is made in 3 shell sizes in order to offer a high level of comfort and for a perfect fit to the physical constitution of each rider.
Inner shell:
The inner shell is made of multi density EPS, injected into the shell itself via in-molded technology. This technology allows for greater resistance and efficiency in high and medium intensity impacts. The multi-layer EPS has a V-Foam Plus structure which helps in the absorption of the severest impacts.
In between the EPS and the inner lining of the inner shell, there is the 360° Turbine system, which absorbs low intensity impacts and 40% more of the rotational forces than other helmets. The design of the turbines allows them to cushion the rotational forces within the helmet, thus reducing the risks of cerebral lesions.
Interior:
New Dri-Lex interior padding that incorporate anti-bacterial treatment and is fully removable and washable. This padding has a breathable fabric for a better sweat evaporation.
Ventilation:
With air inlets at the top and on the chin guard and small air extractors in the rear. The ventilation system allows for maximum ventilation even at low speeds.
Other features:
Compatible with the use of Leatt neck braces.
The visor of the GPX 3.5 has been designed to detach in case of a possible fall.
For emergency situations, the helmet's side padding is removable, in order to remove the helmet without the risk of a lesion.
